UNC Adams School of Dentistry uses Andersen sterilizer to Decontaminate 1,500 N95 Masks each day for Healthcare Workers fighting on the Front Lines

HAW RIVER, NC – Andersen is honored to be working with our neighbors at UNC Chapel Hill, NC to ensure 1,500 N95 masks are decontaminated daily for the front line health workers at UNC Health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our gas sterilization experts collaborated with the UNC Adams School of Dentistry Prosthodontics Program‘s sterile processing department to utilize its Andersen EOGas 333 industrial sterilizer, capable of running 10 decontamination cycles at once daily, each containing 150 N95 masks. 100% of those masks return to UNC Health front line workers daily.

Using only 17.6 grams, or less, of EO per cycle, our sterilizers are incredibly easy to use, efficient, & effective at decontaminating the vital equipment healthcare workers need as supply chain stress continues. Reach out to our experts today to see how we can help!
